First Treatment

When mom was given the first dose of chemo she responded very well. She is very thankful for her port knowing that she has 15 more of these treatments. After her immune booster shot, she felt some muscle weakness which is a common side affect. She's definitely more tired than she had been, but each day she is feeling stronger. She even made it to our Easter gathering on Sunday for a few hours.

Dad and Mom have commented many, many times how thankful they are for all the prayers and cards. They know that it is only by God's grace that they can be so peaceful about the future.

Several have asked about meals. We will try to mention if there is a specific need. At this time, we see a possible need for meals a couple days after the immune booster shot. If you are interested in having your name put on a list, please comment on this blog, call Brenda or Jill, or e-mail Jill at djfiechter@adamswells.com.

This blog will be updated after each treatment and possibly a couple times in between. Because we don't have all the e-mail addresses of mom's friends, please forward the address of this blog site on to those who may be interested. Thanks!

We love you and are praying for you every day. May God grant you the grace and strength from above to get thru this time.

We're thankful to get updates on this blog. It really helps us know specifically when and what to pray for.

It was so great to see you last weekend and it was well worth the trip. Take courage and God grant you peace.

Love. Barry, Myra, and family.
